The Moment I Let Go of My Ego

For years, I poured my heart into squash coaching, convinced I could revolutionise the sport and make a lasting impact. My family and I even embarked on an incredible national coaching tour, bringing professional coaching to rural and regional squash centres across Australia.

We visited places that had never seen a squash coach before—90% of the centres had no prior experience with coaching, and the other 10% hadn’t had one in decades. The mission was inspiring and deeply fulfilling. I loved connecting with communities, sharing my knowledge, and witnessing the joy it brought to players.

But over time, I realised that while this work was rewarding, it didn’t truly align with my heart’s purpose. My connection to the sport no longer felt in service to my soul. It was a hard truth to face, but it was also the catalyst I needed.

As I began to let go, I opened myself to receiving guidance. Through dreams and intuitive messages, it became clear that my true calling wasn’t about the sport itself—it was about the helping process. I loved teaching and connecting with others, but my soul was urging me to do something deeper, something more transformational.

When I discovered intuitive energy healing, everything started to fall into place. The more I learned, the more I knew this was the path I was meant to walk. Helping others heal their traumas, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover unconditional love felt like coming home.

Letting go of my ego and releasing what no longer served me wasn’t easy. But it was the doorway to a life of true purpose, where I now guide others on their healing journey.

Sometimes, we hold on because it feels safe or familiar. But when we let go, we create space for something greater—something that aligns with our soul’s deepest truth.

If you’ve ever felt the pull to let go of something that no longer serves you, trust that it’s leading you toward something greater. Your soul always knows the way.

I’d love to hear—what’s one thing you’ve let go of that opened the door to your true path? Share your story below or send me a message. Let’s inspire each other to follow our hearts.
